Dr. Krystina Lewis is originally from St John’s, Newfoundland. She graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Atlantic Veterinary College in 2020.
After graduation, Dr. Lewis moved to New Brunswick and began her career in general practice before more recently transitioning into emergency medicine at Riverview Animal Health Centre.
Dr. Lewis is passionate about helping pets and their families, with a particular focus on clear communication and working with clients to navigate the spectrum of care available for their pets. She also has a strong interest in community involvement and volunteering, having participated in a variety of veterinary initiatives across Canada as well as internationally in Kenya and Costa Rica.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Lewis enjoys spending time with her horse, walking her dogs, running, and getting lost in a good book. Each year, she also participates in the Terry Fox Run in memory of her father and father-in-law.
