Growing up I always had pets at home and I always knew that I wanted to work with animals. I have never even thought about doing anything else! I graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Oulton College in 2020 and started working at Riverview Animal Health Centre right after.
I really enjoy emergency medicine because you never know what is going to come through the door next! There is always opportunity for furthering my learning. The part I love most about my job is seeing and helping the animals improve so they get back home to their families. It is extremely rewarding. My favorite thing about the Riverview Animal Health Centre is how supportive and amazing the staff is.
Fun Fact: One of the coolest pets I owned growing up was a chinchilla named Chili!
