Dr. Ashley Farrell

I have wanted to be a veterinarian since I was very young. This commitment solidified during high school when I undertook a co-op placement at a veterinary clinic. It became abundantly clear that veterinary medicine was my destined career path. Following this revelation, I pursued my education at the Atlantic Veterinary College, culminating in my graduation in 2013.

My professional journey led me to specialize in emergency medicine, where I honed my skills over several years before joining Riverview Animal Health Centre in September 2018. What truly sets Riverview apart is its exceptional team of dedicated professionals and the remarkable relationships we build with our clients.

My particular area of interest lies in preventative medicine, where I am deeply committed to helping pets achieve their optimum health. I love being able to watch patients grow throughout their lifetime, while also getting to know their human family members. I also have a soft spot for senior pets and love talking to owners about improving their quality of life..

On a personal note, I cherish spending my spare time outdoors with my family and nurturing the dream of establishing a hobby farm in the future.
