Stephanie Chambers
Registered Veterinary Technician
I earned my Veterinary Technician diploma from Oulton College in 2014. My decision to enter the veterinary field is rooted in my deep love for all animals and a keen interest in biology and medicine. I sought a career that would allow me to make a meaningful difference in the lives of animals.
Within veterinary medicine, my primary interests lie in surgery/anesthesia and diagnostic lab work, encompassing tasks such as bloodwork, urinalysis, and ear cytology. What brings me the most fulfillment in my role is witnessing patients transform from being ill or injured to achieving a state of health, happiness, and healing. There’s a special joy in seeing pets reunite with their owners after their stay with us.
On a personal note, I share my life with two cats, Darwin and Gracie. Beyond my professional endeavours, I indulge in two favourite hobbies—cooking and playing the ukulele.
